Real time social search engine Nsyght relaunches

Now the long journey of relaunching nsyght has finally come to an end!

Now would probably be a good time to give everyone an idea what nsyght is all about. The team here at nsyght focused on a very real problem, that in our humble opinions, remain unsolved: how do you make sense of/use of, the great real time firehose? Real Time has forever changed the way we consume and produce information, but discovering new and relevant information still remains elusive. Each service we belong to, means another firehose, and each firehose produces so much information, so quickly, that it can be difficult to actually use it in a meaningful way.

Enter, stage left, nsyght. Nsyght is more than a simple aggregation service, sure we index data from a variety of social services, but so do a lot of other people. What we do that is unique is index the information from your friends in real time too. So, imagine every social service you use, not only do you have a firehose, but you also have a group of friends/people that you follow or trust. What we do is funnel that group into nsyght, so you can follow, share, and post information to from nsyght.

For us, we want the flow to be two-way, we fully recognize and agree with the concept that nsyght is not here to replace your existing communities, just offer some cool tools to make them better.

Ok, down to brass tacks, who do we support? As of right now, we support Facebook, Twitter, Stumbleupon, Digg, Last.fm, Delicous, and Flickr.

Thanks for your patience everyone, hope to see you at nsyght soon!
