Zoombu is completely independent and our search engine reveals the cheapest, fastest or greenest results rather than promoting any particular carrier or service.
What is the difference between Zoombu and other travel sites?
Zoombu does much more than compare flights; it searches all modes of transport within Europe. Our engine finds all the possible routes from your door to your destination, and displays the best results. You can easily compare the cost, duration, and carbon footprint of the entire journeys, and pick the best one for you. Zoombu is not a travel agent, which means that we do not do the booking for you. Instead, we take you to the right place on each provider’s website so you can book directly with them.
Our search engine gathers data from hundreds of travel sites, including ar hire. We know who goes where, and all the other routing information necessary to find the optimal journeys from A to B. We use your preferences to pick out the most relevant routes for you. We are continually linking into more data sources to ensure our search is truly comprehensive.
Booking travel within Europe typically involves searching through many travel sites, and working out the best combination of transport options by hand. Sometimes you want to get to a place quickly, sometimes you care more about cost, and increasingly you are concerned with the impact your travelling has on the environment.

Why do I have to sign up to use Zoombu’s search engine at the moment?
In order that we can gather, listen and react to valuable user feedback, we are limiting the number of invitations for users to trial our service. We release more invitations every week, so if you have expressed an interest in trialling our service and haven’t received your invitation yet, don’t worry, we know you are there and we will be with you soon! Real feedback is very important to us to ensure we provide the journey planner that you want to use, so please keep it coming.
When will Zoombu be available without having to register?
The Zoombu search service is currently available for limited modes of transport and geographies. When we are comfortable that we have comprehensive data coverage for Europe, we will open up our search engine for anybody to use without signing up first.
