Zubican find it, I can, too
Remember Zubican? If you don’t click the link for a little refresher. They are the comprehensive business directory search for America, and now they’re zoning new ground. And just in time too, as America’s business landscape is drastically morphing with all this economic upheaval.
Aside from a pretty attractive new homepage display, the team has announced new features that make it easier for businesses to find suppliers and partners. The new features build on Zubican’s database of detailed profiles on virtually every business in the United States, and then are augmented with information from the businesses themselves, existing and past business partners, news sources and other publicly available information.

As the suspicious investigative reporter that I am, I tested out Zubican by typing in my father-in-law’s business, A Budget Reporter, and lo and behold, it could not escape Zubican’s all-seeing eye. Little do they know that it is based out of my wife’s childhood bedroom. Here’s his profile:

I’m going to send this to him so he can update it, and if you ever need A Budget Reporter for a court transcript, feel free to let him know.
“The price of fuel is up, the availability of credit is down and there is a lot of economic uncertainty for businesses. It’s more important than ever for businesses to re-evaluate their choice in vendors,” said Matthew Graczyk, Zubican’s CEO.
New features introduced by Zubican this week:
· The ability for businesses to claim and customize their company profiles;
· Increased interactivity including allowing businesses to respond to ratings of their companies;
· The ability to link company profiles, demonstrating the breadth of companies’ business networks;
· Company comparisons enabling users to easily compare multiple vendors in a table format;
· The option for both buyers and sellers to seek recommendations about potential partners from their trusted networks.
“If Zubican find it, I can, too.” Now there’s a jingle!
