Evri, a technology company focused on helping people discover and engage with Web content, today announced that Rudy Gadre joined the company as vice president of business operations. Gadre joins Evri following two years as Facebook’s General Counsel. In this newly created position at Evri, Gadre will oversee legal and intellectual property, human resources, and financial planning.
In addition, Rudy will be responsible for building audience, driving customer acquisition and other Evri.com marketing activities. Evri CEO Neil Roseman made the announcement.
“Rudy brings a great deal of business insight and legal expertise from his experience at Facebook and Amazon,” said Neil Roseman. “I’m extremely pleased to have Rudy join the Evri team; he will be a real asset to the team as we endeavor to change the way consumers discover and engage with content on the Web.”

Earlier this week, Evri opened its beta to the public at www.evri.com, including the Evri content recommendation widget, Profile pages, and the Evri Garden at http://www.evri.com/garden.html, a technology playground where people can directly interact with the same back end system that Evri scientists and engineers use.
