Sprice, a leading travel search engine, today announced the launch of a new hotel search product on its Asia Pacific websites.
Consumers in this region will now, by default, be directed to the hotel search page. By searching for a hotel in a city of their choice, or checking the quality of a specific hotel, users have access to one of the world’s largest databases of hotel information and rates, as well as user-generated reviews and photographs.
This comes in addition to their search for travel deals and flights, on a single website.
Sprice.com’s hotel product was first set up with the aim of bringing together millions of travellers’ reviews and photographs from a wide range of sources, including blogs, commercial sites and social networks. This ensures as much as possible, a 100% neutral and objective consumer opinion database of hotels.
“The new Sprice.com in Asia Pacific reflects our commitment to provide relevant content to users. By leveraging our proprietary real-time and deep-search technologies to search not just for travel products, but also for user-generated reviews and photographs of hotels, Sprice.com has become the only true one-stop travel search engine for consumers in the region. This greatly strengthens our proposition as an effective marketing platform to travel portals and suppliers as well,” added Gulati.
While Gulati is confident that its new website in Asia Pacific will take off with resounding success, this consolidated service is only being offered in Asia Pacific as of now. “However, we do not rule out plans to extend this to Europe. We will monitor our success in this region and assess the need to integrate both services in the Europe market at a later stage.”

And now, a message from the chief marketing Llama:
My name is Jared Tame with OneLlama Media. I am contacting you to tell you about a new product we have launched called Radio OneLlama which allows users to very quickly and easily explore the world of internet radio.
Here is how it works: you type in your favorite artist and we’ll tell you all the radio stations around the world playing it now (or recently). We also recommend other stations playing similar music, and you can listen in using your browser. Even better, there’s no registration, downloads, or costs.
We’re still in closed beta, but I wanted to extend the invitation to your users to try us out and let us know what they think. We’ve given your domain an invite code, up to 100 users can register using it. It’s “altsearch”
We’d love to get feedback so we can build the best radio on the net!

Kindernet- Need a safe place for your kids to search the internet? Then Kindernet is the place for you. Kindernet insures that the safest and most useful results are found for you and your children. For example, typing in Britney Spears brings up news about her fan page and mild websites which are useful and appropriate for children.
I can assure you they will not stumble upon pages which reveal the true side of Miss Spears. Besides the smart searching filters. Kindernet also allows for faster searching by making the keyword entry process easy. If you want to search for two words, just type in “and” between your two key terms. If you wish to exclude a word, just add a minus sign in front of it.
Quintura Kids- Quintura Kids is one of the most useful search engines for kids. Quintura Kids caters its famous “cloud search” specifically to the children, allowing them to search through various subjects with ease. It provides the users with categories or “tags” for their keywords. This allows kids to get very specific with their search and get accurate results just like the big-boys who use quotation marks, addition signs, and secret symbols in Google.
GoGooligans – This is basically Google for kids. It has safety filters which prevent vulgar material from leaking out from the unsanitary cables and pipes known as the internet. GoGooligans also offers many search options, allowing kids to search through specific websites such as PBS, Britannica, Merriam Webster, About, etc. Also, once the search term is entered, users can then choose more specific results for their keywords, such as, Geography, History, Facts, Definition, and much more.
Ask Kids- The younger sibling of the infamous Ask.com. The people at Ask know a few things about internet search, and now they have passed on their wisdom to Ask Kids. This search engine is a easy to navigate and offers features which make searching less of an ordeal. Enter your keyword and you are presented with numerous different facts along with your search result. This allows the children to not get lost in the all the links, and it helps them to get their information quickly.
Famhoo – Lastly, we have Famhoo. It doesn’t come with all the bells and whistles of the other kid search engines. However, it instead provides a clean and simple layout that is usable by even the youngest internet users. Famhoo is a family search engine with top notch filters. For example, say a child heard the name Pamela Anderson from somewhere and decided to type it into a search engine. Well have no fear! Because Famhoo brings safe and informative information, and for all the child knows, Miss Anderson is nothing but an avid PETA member.
