London: Silobreaker, the alternative search engine for news and current affairs, has been selected to participate in the inaugural debut of Web Mission 2008.
“This is a great honour and further recognition of Silobreaker’s innovative technology and approach to news search” commented Silobreaker CEO, Kristofer Mansson. “With almost half of our users coming from the US, Web Mission is a great chance for us not only to meet and exchange ideas with key players in Silicon Valley but to strengthen the ties with our largest user base and continue scaling our business in North America.”
Web Mission 2008 will see 20 UK Web 2.0 companies travel to San Francisco to explore new opportunities for growth. The event will showcase UK web talent, seek assistance for companies ready for expansion, and provide a platform for those involved to gain valuable exposure.
The event will take place between 19-25 April. For more information, visit www.webmission08.com.
