The Wheel of Lunch!
This is one of my all-time favorites! It’s a true local search engine, just type in your zip code and a query like ‘lunch’ or ‘pizza,’ and proceed…the wheel spins with a clackety-clack sound and stops on a local restaurant.

We help by finding quality food sites and organizing their recipes and restaurant reviews, so that you can find them from one convenient place. We started by providing a recipe search engine. Instead of going to all your favorite recipe sites and searching them one by one, you can just use our search service. You can search by dish name, ingredient, cuisine, or chef.

Vinquire’s search engine is powerful, free, and always displays every search result regardless of site sponsors. We constantly scan thousands of retailers to find our users the best deals and most sought-after wines.
Snooth is the world’s most comprehensive wine database, featuring millions of reviews and hundreds of thousands of wines. It offers both casual and aspiring wine drinkers personalized wine recommendations, ratings & reviews, as well as a wine information search tool that seamlessly connects users to the websites of top online merchants and wineries worldwide.

Your Next Drink is a site dedicated to helping you make the most out of your alcoholic ingredients at home. We’ve assembled a powerful search engine to help deliver the most accurate drink recipes quickly and easily.
Able Grape is a wine search engine for learning and research. We aim to be the world’s most comprehensive, up-to-date, and authoritative source for online wine information. We’re a little different than your usual search engine, with numerous features and a few twists to help you find things faster.

Most recipe search engines are very simple: you type a query and the engine returns a list of recipes which contain those words. Typically, the recipes will require ingredients you might not have. When coming across an interesting recipe, you then either leave out those ingredients or head out to the store to buy them. It’s this problem that Supercook aims to solve by returning recipes you can make with the ingredients you have.
