If you’ve never been to a Search Engine Strategies event in New York City, this is a “must-attend”. The industry converges for a week of spirited discussion, high-level learning and attendees leave with actionable battle plans to go forward with for their companies. For SES Alumni, there will be so much new content and developments that you’ll need to stay on top of, you should bring your whole team!
There will be a very special panel 12:45- 1:45 on Thursday March 20th.
Title: My search is better than your search.
Session Description:
The entrepreneurs and those who dare to do things differently have shaped the web and search as we know it. Is innovation dead? We at Search Engine Strategies and AltSearchEngines don’t think so. Though most experts agree there will be no “Google Killer.” There will be several emerging technologies that shape the way search, find, and retain content.
In order to speak at this event you must post your description via the SES speaker proposal form (you have a special extension) no later than February 29th, 2008.
Charles Knight, Kevin Ryan and the SES Content Team will decide on the best 5 submissions who will be allowed to strut their stuff at the biggest Search Engine Strategies of the year.
Rules:
This will be a one hour session. Kevin and Charles will review each presentation American Idol style (please don’t ask who is who.) and the winners will be declared with a little help from the audience.
The candidates will each get 7 minutes on stage with 3 minutes Q&A from the judges. Entries will be judged live on technical efficiency, relevance and practical functionality.
Audience members will be invited to join in the discussion. If your plan was to pitch the business, think again. Your presentation should profile the site, how it was built, who it had in mind and how it works.
And for a 10% discount, use this discount code when you register – 10RWW.
Oh, and just one more catch, the CEO or President has to give the presentation.
