nuroa is a real estate search engine launched in October 2007. It has the most number of ads of the Spanish online real estate market – 1 million. Besides ads, nuroa gives to the user pictures, news and information related to her search. The company is based in Barcelona and was founded by Oriol Blasco a Catalan entrepreneur and Gary Stewart an American entrepreneur.
Agregax is the Spanish Technorati, a blog search engine. It has aggregated more than 7,000 blogs and more than a 1 million posts. It has a very clean interface and it’s very easy to navigate. The company was founded by Paul Iglesias in April 2006.

Trovit was the search engine of the day here in Alt Search Engines. The project started in Spain and today is present in Italy, Germany, France, Portugal and the United Kingdom.
Laburo is a job search engine still in beta version. It has around 250,000 job offers from newspaper and jobs portals. The personalization is outstanding– the user can edit the home page, with whichever websites he wants to search on.
Shoomo is a shopping search engine. It has more than 600,000 products searched on over 100 websites. The good thing about shoomo is the sense of ommunity – the user can create his profile, save favourite products, vote for the products, make comments and help other users with their surveys. The users who make more comments are known as “leaders” in the shoomo community.
Cunoticias is a news search engine. The user can search for local news amongst the Spanish provinces or search for thematic news such as Sports and Technology.
