Widely regarded as “prosumer” countries with early adopters of innovative technology and Internet usage, Italy, Ireland, Belgium, the Netherlands and Brazil have primed job seekers to embrace localized job search engines.

Having indexed more than five million jobs worldwide, Simply Hired’s country-specific destination websites in Italy, Ireland, Belgium, the Netherlands and Brazil now enable job seekers to search from the leading job boards, content websites, newspapers and company career pages in each country — providing a simple online job search experience. Through its international partnership with LinkedIn, Simply Hired’s local websites will also allow job seekers to discover connections at companies, providing them the inside track on the hiring process. Without requiring membership, Simply Hired immediately shows returning users which new listings have been added since their last visit and offers an advanced search option to return job listings that match specific criteria, all in the users’ native language.

“Simply Hired is proud to offer localized job search engines in Europe, Asia, North America, South America and Australia,” said Sachin Shah, Director of International, Simply Hired. “Our recent expansion to Italy, Ireland, Belgium, the Netherlands and Brazil is a testament of our commitment to helping job seekers around the world.”

To express interest in including your jobs, visit any Simply Hired international site and click the “Add Jobs” link at the bottom of the page. For the publisher community such as job boards, bloggers and content sites, Simply Hired provides additional, relevant job listings to supplement existing content. VOOLKAN the easist way to find a job opening

In ancient Greek, the word Voolkan was defined as the ” the easiest way to find a job opening.” It was mentioned in one of the lost dialogues of Plato discovered buried in the city of Atlantis. Plato had discovered a magical process for matching job applicants with the perfect job. He used a specific mathematical formula to do this (which we, unfortunetly, will never reveal to mere mortals). Plato wanted to apply it to the Republic, one of his greatest works, but it was excluded for unknown reasons…

Actually, we just made that up, Voolkan isn’t a real word (we thought the story sounded cool, though). The technology of matching job applicants with the right job, however, is real, and we’re using it here.

Voolkan is a free online job search site. Think of it as the classified ads page for the 21st century! As an individual, you can register, search and apply for jobs across the country for free—and the more jobs you apply to, the smarter Voolkan gets, and you’ll get up-to-date, personally-tailored job recommendations every time you log in! As a business owner, you can post your job listing anywhere in the country, and use Voolkan’s built-in job application interface to screen potential employees and keep track of how many views your listing gets. Why set up a complicated application form on your own site when Voolkan takes care of the whole process for you, automatically? It couldn’t be any simpler!
