So I did some research and after six months of research I built mybusca. My main focus was going to be commercial furniture and I was going to help interior designers save time on their furniture research.

I would not charge the interior designers a fee and I will not charge the furniture companies a fee (At least not for now). I will give the interior designers what they want, endless contract furniture to look at. I will give the commercial furniture companies what they need, 1,000’s of interior designers looking at their furniture.

I needed feedback, so I went to family, friends and I hired a telemarketer to get feedback from hundreds of interior designers. The feedback I got was very positive.

Social media was a great place for me to start getting the word out about mybusca. I had 90 members in less then six months from using LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook. I knew I would have to get the rest of my traffic through search engines if I was going to take mybusca to the moon!

Larger commercial furniture companies will only invest their time with websites that produce lots of traffic. That is why it is so important to mybusca to reach top search engine placement for contract furniture related key words.

Improving mybusca will be an ongoing process, which we will continue to listen to the needs of the designers. We are focus on growing our content and providing tools that makes designers more efficient with their time.

Interior designers will help develop the new tools mybusca creates. The positive feedback we have received tells us we are moving in the right direction.

Both industry are tight niches and if a commercial furniture search engine benefits both sides, we should see the larger commercial furniture companies becoming big players in this new search engine.
