Good morning, Hope. I think you were a bit hard on the keynote speakers, but then I wasn't there to hear them. Bless you, anyway.
I'm glad you got something out of the conference. What a busy week! NFL

Hi, Toby. Thanks for the note.

I am sure that people entirely new to Web site construction would have found your talk useful. It is just that given the title, Sources for Data Geeks, I expected something more advanced. Say, material on the Deep Web and tools for searching that and tools for monitoring the sciences and gray literature and the kind of things you blog about.

But thanks for taking the trouble to drop by and keep up the good work in publishing and conference speaking.

Hi there!

I'm sorry you didn't enjoy my talk, I had a lot of positive reactions! And when I've talked about this previously, many people have told me later that they were able to use something they learned in a later project.

I also know a number of librarians, and they are usually interested in hearing about what can be gleaned from public data sources. Perhaps I had focused the talk too much on what could be downloaded, for the sake of developers?

What would you like to have seen? I'm always eager for feedback.

Thanks,
Toby
