Matt of Matteodini writes:

Lesson Planet is offering a free 10 day trial for teachers and parents who are looking for an efficient way to find quality teacher-approved online lesson plans.
Lesson Planet, a search engine designed specifically for teachers, makes it easy for educators to search from over 150,000 teacher-qualified online lesson plans in an intuitively simple search format. Teachers can easily search for reviewed lesson plans by rating, grade level, keyword and by subject areas such as:
• Math lesson plans
• Science lesson plans
• Language arts lesson plans
• Foreign language lesson plans
• History lesson plans
• Art lesson plans
• Reading lesson plans
Access to the 10-day trial is available at https://www.lessonplanet.com/register/step-1
The Lesson Planet website was designed with busy teachers and parents in mind – allowing them to stop wasting their time endlessly sorting through search engines and non-qualified lesson plans. Teachers and parents can search for lesson plans and related state standards by keyword, grade level, rating, subject and even by calendar (to discover holiday-specific lesson plans).
All lessons are pre-qualified by specially trained, credentialed teachers who review and rate online lesson plans in their subject area of expertise. In addition, members are invited to comment on lesson plans by providing helpful pointers, teaching techniques, recommendations and lesson plan extension ideas.
Note: They ask for your credit card information, even for the free trial, so we did not review it. -editor.
The 10-day trial period is a no-commitment, no obligation exploratory period. Those who wish to continue their membership will be charged only $29.95 for a full year of access to Lesson Planet. At a cost of less than 60 cents a week, Lesson Planet is one of the most cost effective solutions for teachers and parents challenged with providing high quality educational experiences to children.
