BuildaSearch.com automatically provides an iPhone/ iPod Touch search engine whenever any custom search engine or site search is created. Sample BuildaSearch iPhone Search for a Palm tree site search: http://www.buildasearch.com/m/cycads
Cooliris has a native iphone app version of its an amazing visual search engine that allows you to search for video and images via its unique visual search experience. I blogged about it here for those of you interested in why I am such a big fan! http://www.search1x.com/2008/11/29/the-new-visual-search-experience/
Drync (http://www.drync.com) is a native iPhone app that, like snooth, searches for wines. Drync’s search is “federated” in that we (yes, this is a shameless self-promotion!) look through >800,000 wines across many different databases. You can save a wine to your cellar, and even buy it on your phone.
