I would have loved to have attended but actually didn't hear about this conference. Sounds like a conference I did make it to, though - the Medicine 2.0 Congress in Toronto. As a medical librarian I think there's a huge role for us here and we do need to try to engage as much as possible, even if it puts us outside our comfort zones. I sympathize with the schmoozing and networking issue, being a self-described "introvert with decent social skills" - but the irony is in a social-networked environment you've got to be at least moderately comfortable with being social!
