Sprice, a leading travel search engine, today announced the launch of a new hotel search product on its Asia Pacific websites.

Consumers in this region will now, by default, be directed to the hotel search page. By searching for a hotel in a city of their choice, or checking the quality of a specific hotel, users have access to one of the world’s largest databases of hotel information and rates, as well as user-generated reviews and photographs.

This comes in addition to their search for travel deals and flights, on a single website.

Sprice.com’s hotel product was first set up with the aim of bringing together millions of travellers’ reviews and photographs from a wide range of sources, including blogs, commercial sites and social networks. This ensures as much as possible, a 100% neutral and objective consumer opinion database of hotels.

While Gulati is confident that its new website in Asia Pacific will take off with resounding success, this consolidated service is only being offered in Asia Pacific as of now. “However, we do not rule out plans to extend this to Europe.
