One question I have is what is the criteria Hitwise is using to judge marketshare.
For example, if a site is using Google CSE as their internal search engine, is it providing an additional bump to Google?

What might be interesting to see is if there’s a correlation of alt market loss compared to when the majors opened up their API’s. (eg. Google CSE & Yahoo! BOSS).
