The Hacienda way to find your next UK home

Hacienda.co.uk is a start-up venture with a small but focused and experienced team. We travel extensively around the UK meeting rental and estate agents, continually refining our service to make it the best it can possibly be!

Hacienda.co.uk was borne out of frustration with the other property websites, where a simple search can yield hundreds and hundreds of matches, the equivalent of being given a filing cabinet of property brochures and being told that one or two will be of interest to you. We thought, and our market research confirms this, that most people know broadly where they’d like to move to, so we set about finding a better way to help people view the homes on offer in the area of interest to them.

No more lists! You want a house in a cul-de-sac? Next to the park? Near the tube station? Our mapping system lets you see all of this and more!

So, why did you name your system Falcons?

Falcon means Finding, Aligning and Learning ontologies, ultimately for Capturing knowledge via ONtology-driven approaches. Falcon is a series of tools and services developed for the Semantic Web by Institute of Web Science (IWS), Southeast University, China. Representative tools and services in Falcon series include Falcon-AO, an automatic ontology matching tool, and Falcon-S, a semantic image search engine in the soccer domain. And Falcons, as the name indicates, is an ultimate application that integrates all the methods in these tools and services to serve as a fundamental service on the Semantic Web.

What is the absinthe louche?

absinthe faq: Absinthe Buyers Guide

This is when absinthe turns to a cloudy, opalescent white when water is added.

SnappyFingers is a search engine. Not quite like the one that you use daily. It looks for answers in the millions of Q&A’s (Questions and Answers) that are spread across multiple sites on the internet on Forum’s, FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions), Q&A sites etc.

…and bring back the Cat! (logo) QueryCAT is the web’s largest database of frequently asked questions. QueryCAT searches the web for FAQs, automatically extracting questions and ranking the answers to help you find the information you are looking for.
