Another video search alt has now joined the concert as of today. With the launch of Yidio, 200 million videos are now newly indexed and searchable.

Videos offered on Yidio come in the following categories: TV Shows (from over 50 countries), full length movies (almost 3,000 of them), music, news, sports, celebrity, funny, and local. Yidio constantly updates videos from chiefly from YouTube, ESPN, FOX and HBO. “It was our goal with Yidio.com to provide an all-in-one solution for users to find and watch any video on the internet quickly and easily,” said Brandon Eatros, CEO and co-founder. “We wanted to simplify the lives of our users while producing a value-added service that would be beneficial to everyone.”

One of the unique features of Yidio is that it automatically detects user location and displays local news. Users can change their location and radius which allows local video of their choice to be displayed upon return. Yidio is actually the first to market with localization technology for videos.

Adding to the long list of features, users have the ability to earn money by building customized playlists with videos of their choice. In case 200 million videos is not enough, Yidio has added over 3,400 free online arcade games to play.
