RealMatch Launches Revolutionary Job Search

RealMatch announced today the release of a new online employment advertising platform that provides job seekers, employers and recruiters with a superior recruiting experience.

The platform, featuring a new profile-matching paradigm with a comprehensive taxonomy and proprietary algorithm, also offers no-cost job posting with real-time updating of result pages that grade, filter and rank candidates according to how well they qualify for a job.

Here’s the pitch:

RealMatch has solved a major problem common to job seekers and employers: keyword-based searching. Keyword searches force both employers and job seekers to painstakingly review many non-relevant listings. Worse yet, using otherwise correct synonyms will miss altogether the desired listings in many keyword search platforms.

Using a new and innovative approach, RealMatch eliminates keyword searching altogether, instead comparing profiles of jobs with the profiles of candidates. Profile matching considers industry experience, title, and the skills that are associated with each job and each candidate along with their preferences. The approach leverages RealMatch’s robust new taxonomy and match algorithms that maximize pairing accuracy.

RealMatch’s interface uniquely allows candidates to begin seeing precisely matched jobs in real-time yet remaining anonymous while exploring new career opportunities. On the advertiser side, employers can see candidates matched, graded, filtered and ranked according to their suitability for the position, all in real-time and without any cost.

Taking the Risk Off of Employers

Unlike conventional job search sites that force advertisers to “pay, post, and pray,” RealMatch has introduced a pay-for-performance pricing model that allows employers and recruiters to post jobs across the RealMatch Partner Network for free. Posted jobs are immediately matched with qualified candidates from across the entire network.

Employers may view, at no charge, the profile of any matching candidate; they are charged a nominal fee only when they decide to reveal the contact information of the matching and interested candidate. Advertisers are also provided with a free version of RealMatch’s industry leading Applicant Tracking System to follow candidates throughout the hiring process lifecycle.

Co-Branded Career Portal Opportunity

As part of its announcement, RealMatch also launched today a new Career Portal Network (CPN), a private-labeled career channel powered by the same platform technology. The CPN allows any Web site to offer its own co-branded career portal with no upfront costs and the potential for significant revenue sharing. The approach not only creates significant revenue opportunities for partner sites, but also extends the reach of RealMatch’s job matching services, thereby providing advertisers and candidates with a broader universe of suitable matches.

RealMatch’s new technology already powers nearly one thousand job sites, meeting the job search needs of millions of users. “We believe we have removed many of the barriers and solved many of the major problems that plague online job boards,” said Gal Almog, President of RealMatch. “We are extremely encouraged by the response we are getting from employers, job seekers, and publishers.” Through the RealMatch CPN, any Web site can co-brand its own state-of-the-art, turnkey career portal.

Realmatch is launching its new network with several dozen partners including MIT’s Technologyreview.com, McGraw Hill’s Accessmedicine.com, Medicalnewstoday.com and Scientificblogging.com.

“The Scientificblogging.com community is a large, diverse and growing group of scientific professionals”, said Hank Campbell, CEO of Scientific Blogging. “We chose the RealMatch job matching platform because it provides our users a unique way to identify relevant opportunities in the science marketplace.”

“Our partners, ranging from market verticals to general-interest business and lifestyle sites, greatly enhance their offering by adding a career portal,” said Rafael Cosentino, Vice President of Business Development for RealMatch. “Online publishers can tap into a market that generates some 25% of all Internet advertising revenues-a market that is mostly closed off, fragmented and poorly served by thousands of job boards that fail to provide value. RealMatch, by contrast, has the technology and pricing model that creates a real win-win-win for the employer, the candidate, and the publisher.”
