Job search Realmatch getting ready to relaunch!

I just got off the phone with Rafael Cosentino of Realmatch, a new type of job matching technology. They are unveiling a new user interface next month after receiving a large round of funding.

Their unique technology and model have been called “disruptive,” and here are a few reasons why:

Realmatch’s technology is not keyword based – The technology’s core is a proprietary taxonomy which matches candidates unique profile with skills required for each unique job. Candidates don’t have to search through pages of irrelevant job listings and employers don’t have to weed through dozens of unqualified resumes. Once you build your profile or add your job, you see your matches.

Realmatch flips the pricing model and takes the risk off employers – 99% of job boards charge a fee to post a job pr to search resumes, Realmatch allows recruiters and employers to post for free. They also show them matching candidates for free and only charge a small fee to reveal the contact information of the interested and matching candidate.

Realmatch offers a better job board for publishers – The solution they offer provides residual revenue every time a resume is opened on a publisher’s site. Because the technology connects to all sites in the network, any site can begin providing value to users from the first day they offer a job board instead of waiting years for their board to fill with a critical mass of employers and job seekers.

You can only see their old user interface on the site now, but I am looking forward to seeing the new one. Realmatch was co-founded by Alan Shoenberg, and they’ve already raised 9.5 million dollars…

  1. Job Seek Says:

fantastic concept I believe the job seek and employers both benefit for this. I have encountered a similar but slightly different search engine jobmixi.com, it searches jobs across all company career pages and job boards and gives results in user friendly format.
