NeXplore today announced the launch of an aggressive marketing initiative to drive adoption of NeXplore Search, the company’s recently launched Web 2.0 search engine optimized for a superior end-user experience, rich-media display and social network integration. The company’s goal is to attract 10,000,000 unique visitors to NeXplore Search by the close of third calendar quarter this year.
As a central component of the NeXplore Search ramp-up initiative, the company plans to send 30 million personalized electronic invitations per month enticing demographically targeted end users to try out the new search engine. NeXplore has also launched a revenue-sharing program for partnering with select high-traffic Web destinations that will embed NeXplore Search into their Web properties.
Lastly, to complement its invitation and partnership programs, NeXplore plans to acquire high traffic internet destinations as well as generate millions of visitors through advertising on an array of strategically identified online networks.

How realistic is this, given that it took 1:10 for the search results for “buy viagra” to load?

Hi everyone! My name is Brittany Bull and I work for NeXplore Corporation. I just wanted to offer a quick response to the concerns being posted with my honest thoughts on the matter.
First, yes, the search engine is running very slow at the moment. However, let me assure you all that modifications and corrections are being done. We are in the process of converting our programs to a Dojo 1.1 format, meaning that the search engine will run searches faster and the format will be compatible not only with IE6 and IE7, but with Firefox and Safari as well. I am very sorry for the delay, but once these changes are put into effect, the speed of searching should be comparable to Google and Yahoo!
The 10 million traffic issue is just that. We would like, just as any other start-up company, to attract a massive amount of traffic. In order to help with this, we do have an electronic invitation which we send out to different users every month. However, this has been put on a short-term hold for the moment until we can provide a fully-functional, built to impress, user-friendly product.
Thanks for all your comments! Please keep them coming! I am very interested in your opinions and ideas!
Ciao,
Brittany
