What is Blogdimension?
It is a multi-platform search engine, targeting the growing universe of bloggers. Their objective is to become one of the leading reference search tools, facilitating the retrieval of Web 2.0-like contents. They increase the choice and search capacity for those who currently use only gigantic “monoproducts” but are now ready to vary their sources.
They have just introduced Version 2 of Blogdimension. This new version replaces the “alpha” version, first released in October 2005. Version 2 is still at an experimental stage of development, but is now clearly an operational project. In addition, this release is not limited simply to the retrieval of blogs, but extends its search capacity to:

microblogs (ie. Twitter), forums and news feeds, podcasts (and other audio contents),
online videos (like YouTube or Dailymotion, other video sources will be crawled),
images, etc. (the “etc.” is important – confidential developments are in the pipeline).
Blogdimension aims to make it easier to access blog-like contents on an international scale, covering both linguistic and cultural spheres. Blogdimension provides more freedom for users who will gain access to a wider spectrum of search engines. Each search engine features its own set of results, so that the using Blogdimension will generate alternative and complementary results for the user.
In addition, Blogdimension is a valuable analytical tool for Internet and B2B users, enabling them to tap into the pulse of the blogosphere and to track the trends and development of this vital aspect of Web 2.0.
Your suggestions and ideas for improving Blogdimension will be much appreciated. You can leave them here in the comments section.
