SuchClip is a general web search engine. The index is built from users who have installed a FireFox toolbar.
icjobs is Germany’s largest job search engine based on Wikia’s semantic analysis technology.
General web search engine. Neomo provides search technology for German portals.
Abacho is a general search engine with image search powered by picsearch, product search, translator, etc. Searches several countries.
This is just the German version of Wikio.
Paperball is a German News search engine powered by LYCOS.
ROMSO is a News search engine with a news “matrix (related terms),” and a media presence time line.
fastbot is a Web search engine that provides the woerterbuch service. Note:See also woerterbuch.info below.
semager is a Semantic search engine. It provides related terms, more general or more specific terms and synonyms. It also has a very interesting blog (in German).

GoPubMed is a German, free available biomedical search engine. Since June it is included in the Top 100!
With http://www.gopubmed.org searching is now sorted!
Give a try! Search e.g. for aspirin and navigate the left hand knowledge-base from Diseases, Cardiovascular Diseases to Heart Diseases. From > 42.000 citations to some relevant in three seconds!
