Soople is a site that softens all of the advanced functions that Google offers. The site is meant for all those who are not yet familiar with all the possibilities of Google and all the required syntaxes.

For instance, one can specify a search by one particular site or file type (word, excel, power point and pdf) or an image search by size and type. Furthermore there are many useful tools Google offers; search in the latest news, look up definitions or use Google as a phone book.

Their is also a separate page for the Calculator. This tool let’s you do all kinds of advanced calculations. Soople has added the unit-converter, which is based on this calculator, for the conversion of all the common units/measures (meters<—>yards).

Soople also as a nice built-in translate box. Here is a section of my latest post in Italian:

Answer: Soople is an early English dialect, which means ‘to soften, to make supple.” This is meant to reflect their goal of making all of the advanced Google functions softer.

There is another site that has the same goal, but with a different look; Simply Google.
